Traveling can still be difficult for LGBT Community in a lot of places in Asia. But Nepal is a welcome exception. People hold hands with same sex all the time. You can relax and know you are safe from harassment. It's such a safe, friendly culture I know you'll have a great time. We have mild winters in the Kathmandu Valley and clean, fresh air once outside the city; note the temperature below is from Oct. 30 and in Celsius.
  

One of the villages you'll want to see is Changunarayan, at the edge of the Kathmandu Valley. We happen to have  a newly built guesthouse there. It's nice, but if you'd rather stay with a local, Nepali family we have several home-stay families.
